All other motorcycle adaptions or modifications require the rider to get out of their wheelchair such as a trike, or only ride as a passenger.

Sidecar cockpit is heavy duty 29" wide x 40" inches long plus 15" extra space for foot plates in front of front caster or drive wheels so can easily can accommodate almost all wheelchairs both manual Wheelchairs such as Colors, Quickie, Invacare, Ti-lite, or full size power wheelchairs such as a Permobil, Invacare, Jazzy, etc. We even measured for a large off-road Frontier F6 wheelchair with extra-large casters, it would work by simply welding on any additional 4" extension to the rear of the sidecar cockpit.

Turn heads and get attention as you get in and out as easily as other riders at scenic destinations, roadside pitstops, for that great burger, or just to fill up with gas!  Use it to ride to work, run errands, or even pick up some groceries as there is some covered storage in front of your feet. You will be the source of inspiration for many as in this article.

There were only 30-50 of these ever made by hand in the late 1970s through mid-1980s by Tomco. Each one was uniquely customized for the future owner. I believe there is only two or three examples that still exist and this one is by far in the best condition and fully functional. One unit even featured a more conventional circular steering wheel which this will could be modified to accommodate.

The foot brake lever is re-configured to allow it to be operated by the rider’s left hand, while the front brake lever and master cylinder is still up on the right handlebar. The instruments are relocated to the immediate left of the rider in the sidecar to make them easily visible. An easy to reach lever on the rider' s left raises and lowers the rear ramp but can be easily relocated to the right of the sidecar.  Features an automatic transmission direct from Honda's factory (no modifications) which significantly improves drivability avoiding the need to clutch and shift.

If you only have full dexterity in one hand, right or left, it is still possible for you to ride through our collaboration with DisabilityMotorcycleAids.com.

This very unique, classic Adaptive Wheelchair Motorcycle is being sold to help finance building of the InclusiveAdventures.org prototype eChariot Tesla-Powered Electric Wheelchair Trike Motorcycle. 100% of the proceeds from your purchase will go to this 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
